Obituary
Timothy Johnson was born March 26, 1956, in Miami, Florida. He was the third of seven children of the late Naomi and James Johnson. Timothy and his siblings attended Liberty Fellowship Church of
Timothy attended Miami Jackson Senior High School, where the students, teachers, and staff loved and adored him. He met the love of his life, Sandra Copeland, in 1973; Timothy and Sandra have proclaimed their love for each other ever since.
On March 2, 2025, twenty-four days before his sixty-ninth birthday, he completed his earthly assignment and went home to be with his heavenly father. He joins his beloved parents, Naomi and James; brothers, Elijah and Phillip; and sister, Ruth Ann Johnson.
Timothy leaves behind a legacy and love and cherished memories: his companion, Sandra; four children, Lanorris Thomas, Sr., Kasey Copeland, Chamayne Copeland, and Jerome Copeland; three siblings, Paul Johnson, Shalonda Johnson, and Terri Harris (Alan); eighteen grandchildren, Danny, Christopher, Jameka, Chrisshonda, James, Cornellius, Briana, Ashant, Jabria, Tiesha, Destiny, Dante, Lanorris, Mariah, Ashley, Hezekiah, Darrell, and Grayson; nieces and nephews, Tony, Takreem, Melvin, Larandce, Tiffany, Ernest, and Terron; and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
