Obituary
TV Jones, Jr., affectionately known as “Junior” was born on December 28, 1949, in Henry County, Alabama to the late TV Jones, Sr., and the late Ada Lee Hill Jones.
He received his education from Henry County Training School in Abbeville, Alabama.
Junior worked several construction jobs over the years. Some of them included the Waterways of Aventura, Towers at FIU North, and the Metro Rail. He also liked to cook and worked at Joe’s Stone Crab on South Beach and Jumbo’s Restaurant.
His favorite football team was Alabama Crimson Tide. The team logo is the “A” that is being worn by him and some of the family members.
Junior joined Trinity CME Church in 1982 under the leadership of Reverend George W. Wilson and Reverend Ronald A. Rahming. TV and Jacqueline were married on March 13, 1982, almost 43 years ago. Their union was blessed with a blended family of six children.
On February 21, 2025, Junior said good-bye to his earthly home. He leaves to cherish fond memories: a devoted wife, Jacqueline Jones; children, Tyrone, Bernard, Thomas (Desiree), Shannon Jones Stanley (Marvin), Brian Jones (Tamara), and a bonus son, Lashay McIntosh (Vanessa); siblings, Sandra Green, Charleston Jones (Shari), and Millie Carlisle (Charles); 12 grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bobby Stokes; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, Thomas and Ronnie Jones, preceded Junior in death.
