Obituary

Wallace Nelson, Sr., was born on June 2, 1966, in Miami, Florida, to Brenda Nelson. He attained his education throughout the Miami Dade public school system. Glenn held various jobs as a laborer.
 
Wallace was an only child. He was raised in Liberty City in the Scott Carver Projects and was affectionately known by his family and friends as “Glenn,” “Wally,” “Wal,” “Waldo.”
 
He was a proud member of the Dogg Pound. Wallace was known for his style of dressing, his cleanliness and being an awesome father. He was a member of Holy Temple Missionary Baptist Church.
 
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Wallace was called to his heavenly home. He fought a long and hard battle and victory was won.
 
He leaves to mourn and cherish his sweet memories: his loving lifetime partner and wife, Trenear Jackson-Nelson; mother, Brenda Nelson; sons, Wallace Nelson, Jr., and Demetris Grays, Sr.; grandson, Demetris Grays, Jr.; aunts, Deborah Jean Baptist, Williemae Augustine, Valerie Sapp, and Lashone Sapp; uncles, George Nelson and Benjamin Nelson; sister-in-law, Keke Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Clarence Jr. and Fredrick Jackson;  Special Cousins: Twanna Nelson and Kelishia Rolle, and a host of many more cousins; niece, Clantrelle Jackson; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and other family and friends.
