Obituary
Beverly Milton Moore was born December 19, 1954, to the union of the late Ronnie Williams and the late Mary E. Williams. In the wee hours of Good Friday Beverly took her final earthly rest to enter eternal paradise. “Your work here is done now go rest awhile!”
Beverly Jo, Ma Moe, Ms. Bee, and Sarge just to name a few of the monikers given to her over the years. Beverly was converted at an early age and received her early education at Madison Training School followed by a brief stint in Job Corp. She, however, graduated from Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas with a bachelor’s in administration.
Beverly began her work history at North Florida Junior College in the Snack Bar where she served many hungry souls. Her career path then led her to Jefferson Correctional Institution where she would retire as a Correctional Office Sergeant. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Electa Chapter 64 before it dissolved. Beverly was also a committed member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and an honorary member of Ivy Lane Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to her life’s work, Beverly volunteered whenever and wherever she saw a need within the community. Beverly gave to many charities and causes dear to her heart and in turn received many accolades yearly. Those causes were Easter Seals, Cancer Centers, Feeding the Homeless, Ronald McDonald House, Goodwill to name just a few.
Beverly is survived by her loving son Marcus (Sonya) Brinson who cared for her until her final moments. grandson: Marquis Brinson; brothers: Ronnie Williams, Ervin (Lisa) Williams and Eugene Horne; sisters: Priscilla (Johnny) Hatcher, Faye Horne, bonus sister Joanna Norton, bonus children Maurice (Darlene) Gardner and Shalonda Brinson; god daughter Tamesha Glee and bonus grandkids Zachari Jr., Ariyah and Zhuri Young and a host of many special family and friends who kept her lifted spiritually.
Beverly was preceded in death her parents Ronnie and Mary E. Williams, granddaughter Markayla Brinson; brothers Leroy Milton Sr. and Robert Williams; sister Cheryl Williams and nephew Leroy Milton Jr.
