Obituary
George Ivory Brinson, Jr.
1969 — 2023
1969 — 2023
George Ivory Brinson, Jr., the beloved son of proud parents George I. Brinson, Sr. and Posey M. Brinson, was born on February 21, 1969. He was a lifelong resident of Madison, Florida.
George was preceded in death by his brother, Major Pernell King.
George accepted Christ as his Savior earlier in life. He was a member of Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church of Madison.
George was educated in the public schools of Madison and a 1987 graduate of Madison County High School. He later earned his certification in welding from Taylor Technical School. For the past 21 years, he was a reliable and efficient mechanic in the maintenance department at Pilgrim’s Pride. His work ethic did not go unnoticed by his employers, as well as his co-workers.
Credited to his upbringing, George was a kind, faithful, and loveable son, brother, companion, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved “family” and the good times they had together. He always gave a helping hand and a willing heart. He was a people person with an unforgettable smile and a gentle giant who was loved and respected by all.
During his pastime, George shared his love for motorcycles with his other like-minded friends. They became the founding members of the Madison County Chapter of the Nation of Outcast Motorcycle Club seven years ago. Because of his leadership, loyalty, and dedication, George, whose biker name was “Razr,” served as president/boss for six of those years. He embraced the service he performed and endeared the camaraderie he had with his Outcast family.
On Monday, February 27, 2023, George Ivory Brinson, Jr. crossed from this walk of life when he answered the Master’s call to come Home. Many hearts are saddened because a link in each family chain has been broken; however, believers rest assured in knowing that God is still in the “Chain Repairing” business. Their hope is that one day they will be forever linked together again.
Holding on to God’s unchanging hand in faith are George Ivory Brinson’s loving parents: George I. Brinson, Sr. and Posey Mae Brinson; brothers: Calvin Davis, Jimmy (Lauren) Jennings, Antonio (Ethel) Brinson, Paul Brinson, and Earl Davis; devoted life companion: Priscilla Jones; bonus sons: Darius Henley and Marquez Jones; bonus daughter: Savannah Jones; sister-in-law: Latoya Brown King; nephews: Corbin Davis, Calvin Davis, Jr., Tory King, Nicholas Davis, Terrance Davis, Justin Davis, Zion Brinson, Jonas Brinson, Christian Brinson, and Earl Davis, Jr.; nieces: Kamecia Davis Denson, Miranda Jennings, Aisha King, and Auri Brinson; Nation of Outcast; Pilgrim Pride Family/Maintenance Department; The Treasured Life Family; together with many other sorrowing relatives, and loving friends.
