Obituary
Born on December 19, 1966, in Fort Pierce, Florida, Marguerita Louise Prince entered the world with a bright spirit and a heart full of love. She was the beloved daughter of the late Milton Prince and Roberta Ware, and from her earliest days, she carried a joyful presence that touched everyone around her. Marguerita was humorous yet humble, strong yet gentle, and always kind. Her resilience, her warmth, and her unwavering faith shaped a life marked by courage, compassion, and grace.
Marguerita received her education in both Fort Pierce and the Madison County School System. Guided by a deep and abiding faith, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend J.R. Swilley at New Bethel P.B. Church. Later in life, she became a devoted member of Pineland M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Charlie Barfield. Whether serving in the church or worshiping from home, Marguerita remained steadfast in her walk with God, seeking His healing and strength daily.
Family was the heartbeat of Marguerita’s life. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, a devoted sister, and a loyal friend. Her laughter could brighten any room, and her gentle spirit made others feel seen, valued, and loved. She cherished every moment spent with her son, Bryan O. Wiggins, and her precious granddaughters, Zariyah B. Wiggins and Kaileigh J. Wiggins, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her love for her family was deep, enduring, and unconditional.
Marguerita’s life was also shaped by the strength of the family who raised, supported, and surrounded her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Prince and Roberta Ware; her adopted mother, Lillie M. Ware; her sister, Denise Prince; her son, Milton D. Prince Solomon; her maternal grandmother, Ida Brooks Ware; her grandfather, James Ware; her paternal grandmother, Katie Prince; and her paternal grandfather, Chester Prince, Sr.
Marguerita’s journey on earth came to a close on May 28, 2026, but the love she shared, the faith she lived, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Her life reminds us that even in the face of trials, joy can be found; even in seasons of hardship, faith can sustain; and even when the body grows weary, the spirit can remain strong.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Bryan O. Wiggins; her cherished granddaughters, Zariyah Wiggins and Kaileigh Wiggins; her devoted sisters, Carmencita M. Prince, P’Amelia Price (Thomas, Sr.) Mobley, and Rosalind Prince Franklin; her brother, Dexter F. Prince; her maternal aunt, Ida M. Ware Alexander; her paternal aunts and uncles, Catherine Prince (Willie) Long, Margaret Prince Harris, Generett (Jeanett) Prince, and Verna Prince; nieces & nephews: Zavier, Kevin, Jr., Thomas, Jr., Erica, Whitney, Kourtney, Byron, Jarrod, Da’Coreyon, Ro’Nancia, Nicoryia; special friends: Mike and Margaret Gibson; along with a host of cousins, and extended family members who loved her dearly.
Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion—a legacy that will continue to shine through the lives of her family, her church, and all who were blessed to walk beside her.
