Obituary
On August 20, 2007, Tatiyana Grace Gushiniere-Richardson, the much-loved daughter of Dominique Moore and Goldie Gushiniere, came into the world on a mission, a special assignment by God. She was to use her blessings and her gifts for the greater good and return all glory to God, the giver of all things. Years later, she relocated with her mom and siblings from Mobile, Alabama, and became residents of Tallahassee, Florida.
Tatiyana believed that God has a promise of a future filled with hope, and that her future was in His hands. She knew that path would not always be easy, but that He would always guide her on a personal journey rooted in her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, her Savior. Following her baptism, she became an active member of her church. Because of her enthusiastic faith and her welcoming spirit, she was honored to teach a Sunday School class where she felt blessed by the Lord to be a blessing to others in return.
Tatiyana was self-confident, at peace, and resistant to peer pressure. She was a good student academically, actively involved in extracurricular activities, and a role model for others. Following her own plan of action, she challenged herself to forego her track season and 2025 James S. Rickards High School graduation with her classmates by obtaining her GED on her first attempt. She was honored to represent as the queen of “Girls to Diva,” a local non-profit organization.
A people person, Tatiyana was blessed with enthusiasm and initiative. Because of her own personal agenda, she became gainfully employed as soon as she was eligible, beginning with Publix. She also had a welcoming presence at Wal-Mart, Forever 21, Urban Air, and Zaxby’s. A personal challenge for herself was to be loyal, to be motivated, and to always give her best effort with a winning attitude.
For 15 years Tatiyana and her sisters recognized how tirelessly their mom worked as the sole provider, and that she made sacrifices out of her unconditional love for them. Consequently, Tatiyana never missed an opportunity to show her love or state her heartfelt appreciation for her mom, for she was determined to support her as well as her sisters in every way possible. As a family unit, they embraced each other’s achievements, successes, and even encouraged improvements for their missed opportunities. She had a close bond with Mya, helped take care of her nephew, and assisted with any other household responsibilities that were needed.
Tatiyana Grace Gushiniere-Richardson’s life, though brief, was a blessing to those who were touched by her existence. The indelible mark she left on their hearts far exceeds the amount of time she lived. Her family and community have suffered a great loss; however, only God can provide answers for the heartache that otherwise much prayer and time will heal. On Friday, March 7, 2025, Tatiyana completed her mission on earth and transitioned from this earthly life to receive eternal rest with Him in Paradise.
The memory of Tatiyana Grace Gushiniere-Richardson will forever remain in her loved ones’ hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of love, life, loyalty, and faithfulness that will continue to inspire everyone.
