Obituary

Albert Eugene Caldwell, Sr., 79, departed this life on January 18, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 28, 1944, in Barboursville, Kentucky, the son of Robert and Roberta Caldwell.
Albert moved to Springfield, Illinois, where he met Josephine Webster in 1967 and they were married in 1971. Albert was a retired Minister and a retired truck driver.Albert was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Albert was an all-around good person, and he will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Roberta Caldwell, and daughters, Alisa Caldwell and Monica Caldwell.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Josephine Caldwell; two sons, Albert Caldwell, Jr., and Travis Caldwell; one daughter, Angela Caldwell; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
