Obituary
Barbara J. Moore, 88, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio. She was born in Ralls County, Missouri, on September 30, 1934, the daughter of Elmer and Marjorie Miller.
She married William (Jim) Moore, Sr., on June 9, 1953, in Hannibal, Missouri.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Marjorie Miller; one sister, Vyrle Brown; and two brothers, Jesse Miller and Austin Miller.
Barbara is survived by one sister, Katherine Salmon (Matthew); five sons, William (Jim) Moore, Jr., of Springfield, IL, Rodney J. Moore, Sr. (Angela), of Little Rock, AR, Pastor Arthur L. Moore, Sr. (Felica), of Springfield, IL, Russell R. Moore, Sr. (Brenda), of Chatham, IL, and Scott K. Moore, Sr. (Luvina), of Springfield, IL; one daughter, Mia L. Madison (Carl) of Canton, OH; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
