Obituary
Beulah Mae Allison departed this life on April 8, 2023, at home. She was born December 4, 1949, in Glendora, MS, the daughter of Nola Mae Allison and Vercie Lee Allison, Sr.
She was a cook at Illinois Presbyterian Home for over twenty years. She was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vercie Allison, Sr., and Nola Allison; sisters, Bessie Davis, Velma Gardner, and Vergie Ceasar; and brothers, Ozzie McNeal, Reverend Doffie Allison, Sr., and Herbert Allison, Sr.
She leaves to cherish memories: her husband, Hant Walton, Sr.; sons, Lonzell King, Jr., of Springfield, IL, Antonio King, Sr., (Niecy King) of Springfield, IL, and Matthew Walton, Sr., (LaTisha Higgins) of Springfield, IL; daughters, Lorraine King of Springfield, IL, and Carolyn King of Springfield, IL; brothers, Franklin Allison, Sr., (Janie Allison) of Springfield, IL, Vercie Allison, Jr., of Augusta, GA; sisters, Ada Hawkins of Toledo, OH, Margaret Gardner of Chicago, IL, Eula Spearman of Tutroiler, MS, Mildred Wright of Chicago, IL, Ida Allison of Springfield, IL, and Teresel Jackson of Memphis, TN; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; additional loved ones, Ayden and Ari’Elle, her big boy and big girl; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
