Brenda Kay Billops departed this life on May 31, 2023, at 10:45 a.m. at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, at the age of 70.
Brenda was born on February 28, 1953, in Humboldt, Tennessee, the daughter of Mercie (Shields) and John Sullivan, Sr.
She married Allen Billops.
Mrs. Brenda Billops was a homemaker and cared for many children throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Billops; granddaughter, Tyanna Sullivan; and brothers, John Jr., Terry, William (Pete), Ray, and Louis Sullivan.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Marlon Billops of Dixon, Illinois, Blake and Breaon Billops, both of Springfield, Illinois, and Darius Billops; daughters, Tamirra Terry Sullivan of Springfield, Illinois, Monica Gregory Billops of Fort Worth, Texas, and Amber Billops; mother, Mercie Sullivan of Springfield, Illinois; siblings, Michael Sullivan, Darryl Sullivan, Mary Sullivan, and Joyce Dotts, all of Springfield, Illinois; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
