Obituary

Charles Edward Walton age 76 departed this life on Monday May 8 2023. He was born in Clarksdale Mississippi to the union of Lee Henry and Alice Walton on June 12 1946. Charles served in the United State Army then became a computer technician at Deans Tech Services for 30 years. Charles was a member of Second Timothy Baptist Church and volunteered in whatever capacity needed. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Walton daughters Monica Walton and Andrea Walton Williams brothers twins No and Nolan Walton Walter Lucas George Walton and sisters Barbara Jean Walton and Annie Lee Stokes. He leaves to cherish memories daughters Theresa Grolla of Dayton OH and Barbara Jean Smith of Springfield IL sons Stanley Hughes of Little Elm TX Brooke Ownes James Forney of Springfield IL and Donald Black of Cape Girardeau MO brothers Hant Walton Dr. Glenn Walton Pastor Henry Walton of Springfield IL and Reginald Terry Walton of Bloomington IL sisters Augusta William Walton Fisher of Springfield IL Bertha Shannon Jackson of Vandalia MO and additional loved ones including several grandchildren great grandchildren nieces nephews and friends.
