Obituary

Claude Benjamin “BJ” Frazier III, 34, departed this life on November 20, 2023. BJ was born June 25, 1989, the son of Tiffany Hatchett and Claude Frazier, Jr.

Educated at Western Kentucky University, Chattanooga State Community College, and Tuskegee University, BJ thrived as an entrepreneur, notably excelling in the trucking industry. His pride in these accomplishments was only matched by his passion for managing artists in the music industry, including the renowned Earth Gang.

BJ’s zest for life was expressed through his diverse interests. A connoisseur of “old school” music, he delighted in the timeless sounds of Al Green and Marvin Gaye. An avid bowler with his own personalized gear, BJ approached everything he did with ease, from dominating the basketball court with two full athletic scholarships to showcasing his culinary prowess. Cooking was his love language, and those lucky enough to taste his creations were treated to a culinary masterpiece.

Known for his impeccable style and unique fashion sense, as a child BJ’s wardrobe always stood out, adorned with the flyest hats, jackets, and every pair of Jordans. His infectious laughter, intellectual giftedness, and linguistic talents endeared him to everyone he met. BJ was a beacon of love, living life on his terms, and leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.

BJ, a devoted father, was survived by: his cherished children, Peyton Frazier, Dru Anderson, and Aia Bell; parents, Tiffany Hatchett and Claude Frazier, Jr.; and a brother, Benjamin Frazier.

In our grief, we find solace in the memories of a man who laughed freely, loved deeply, and touched the lives of all who had the privilege of sharing his journey. Claude Benjamin “BJ” Frazier III will forever be remembered and missed, but will live on in our hearts.
