Detarius LaTrave’re Haynes, a beacon of love and kindness, transitioned from this life on April 16, 2024, in St. Louis, MO. Born on December 19, 1997, in Springfield, Illinois, Detarius was the cherished son of Latonya Henley and David Haynes.
With dedication and skill, Detarius served as a valued employee at Paula Products Company and excelled as a manager at Burger King. Detarius was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmie Bates; cousin, Demiyah Bates; aunt, Carolyn Pear; cousins, Landon and Landis Bates; and aunt and uncle, Sharon and Harold Haynes.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Sonny Abel Haynes, and daughters, Glory Christina Haynes, and Niamaya Jones, all residing in Moline, IL. He is survived by his devoted mother, Latonya (Antonio), Henley of St. Louis, MO; father, David Haynes (Veronica), of Springfield, IL; father, La’Ron Williams Sr. (Cindy), of Springfield, IL; siblings, La’Ron Williams, Jr., LeBron Williams, and Lamonte Henley, Justin Moore (Sheridan), Davontae, DaKiya, and Decara Haynes, Daytoria Bates, Brina Williams, Lanyia Williams and Ronlaya Medley; and grandmothers, Christina Davis and Pearline Haynes, all from Springfield, IL and a host of uncles, aunties, and cousins.
