Obituary

Donna Kay Mullens, 68, passed away on June 15, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Donna was born on August 31, 1955, in Kingsport, Tennessee, to Julie Cannon and Joseph Burke.

Donna was known for her warm smile and caring nature. She touched the lives of everyone she met.

Donna cherished spending time with her family and her Facebook family, including Kenneth Prophet who brought immense joy to her life. Donna also had a love for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.

Donna had two children, Rhonda Chavez (Juan Chavez) and Jason Mullens; she was “Nema” to five grandchildren, Alex Hernandez (Sydney Bornefeld), Mercedes Carter (Logan Carter), Tanner Mullens, Cruz Chavez (Michael Young), and Payton Mullens (Eric Hannant); and three great-grandchildren, Olin Carter, Otto Carter, and Maricruz Carter.
