Obituary

Gloria Pam departed this life on January 5, 2024, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on February 6, 1981 in Belleville Illinois. The daughter of Selena Jennings (Richard) and Johnnie Pam.

Gloria married Ronald Tyson February 26, 2016.

Raised in Springfield, Gloria attended Springfield Southeast High School, as well as The Health and Science Academy. Gloria was a Registered Nurse who had a gift for serving others at Memorial Medical Center. Most recently as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. As well as a Covid Crisis Nurse, traveling the United States fighting against the Pandemic.

Gloria professed her love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at a young age. Throughout her life her Faith remained unmovable. Reminding us all often, that “God did not build her to break.” Gloria was a loyal and dedicated Wife, Loving Mother, Devoted Worshiper and Believer in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny C Pam. Sister Queenie Ros. Aunts Bessie Osborn, Rose Alexander, Estella Marchbank and her loving nephew Willie Brownlee.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her sons, Sophann “Phann” Ros, Thai-len “Thai” Ros both of Springfield Il. Daughters Tyaa “Baby Girl” Ros and Drama Bland of Springfield Il. Honorary Bonus Children Khmai-yah and Thai-Phon and Kyonna Ros, of Springfield Il. Mother Selena Jennings (Richard) of St Louis, Mo. Sisters Cynthia Daniels (Robin), Tearetha Plair (Orlando), Christi Ann Carter, of Springfield Il. Michelle Walker (Shane) of Kentucky and Keisha Pam of St Louis, Mo. Brothers Larenzo Pam of Springfield Il and Johnnie Carter (Ebony) of St Louis, Mo. Uncle A.C. Carter of  East St Louis, Il. Nieces and Nephew near and dear to her, David Hughes Jr, Alicia Harvell, and Jada Carter of Springfield Il. Special Friends, Hope Groens, Aisha Stemmons, and Tamara Newton of Springfield Il. Honorary Niece,“TT Bestie”,  Her Tierra Lee. A great host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family, and Friends.

Gloria will be well loved, missed, and remembered dearly as the honest, loyal, fun-loving, free-spirited person, with a giving heart, person that she was. She believed in acts of kindness displayed in the Bible and give generously, but privately. For She knew her reward in Heaven would be abundant. May God smile upon her and say, “Well done, My daughter.”
