Obituary
Gregory Cross, Sr., departed this life on August 9, 2023 at home. He was the son of Ruth L. Spaulding and was born August 30, 1955, in Herron, Illinois.
He married Pamela Diane Thomas on August 29, 1986. Mr. Cross was a valued staff employee at St. Johns Hospital and Memorial Hospital in the laundry department for many years. He was a member of Union Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth L. Spaulding; a son, Joey Latham; and several aunts and uncles.
Greg leaves to cherish his memories: wife of 37 years, Pamela Cross of Springfield; sons, Gregory Lamar Cross, Jr., of Springfield and Dameison James (Monica) of Tacoma, Washington; daughter, Lorrie Thomas Coleman (Marketh) of Santa Clara, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
