Obituary

Hattie Mae Stewart departed this life on January 12, 2026, at St. John Hospital. She was born on December 7, 1943, in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Elia Ma Bolden and father L. C. Bolden, Sr. 

She was married to Ernest Stewart and served as a homemaker for over 30 years. 

She was a member of Second Timothy Baptist Church.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest S. Stewart, Sr.; and sons, Troy Borrow and Ernest S. Stewart, Jr. 

She leaves her children, Antony Burrow, Ervia Burrow, Troy Burrow, Ernest S. Stewart, Jr., Ernestine William, Beverly Stewart; parents, Ella Mae Bolden, and L. C. Bolden, Sr.; sisters, Mary Hanes, Carey Bridgeford, Willie Mae Bush, Floretta Willey, Deborah Fay Bolden, and Gloria Bolden; and brothers, Starling E. Bolden, Robert L. Bolden, L. C. Bolden, Jr., James L. Bolden, and David E. Bolden. She had 19 grandchildren.
