Jacquline Parnell departed this life on December 15, 2024, at Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 28, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Evelyn Scott and Johnnie Lewis, Sr.

She married Victor Hudson. Jacqueline Parnell was a sales associate at Homegoods. She was a member of New Life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Hudson; children, Donna Smylie, Theodis Parnell, Faye Lewis, Ralph Lewis, Jr. (son/nephew); father and mother, Johnnie Lewis, Sr., and Evelyn Scott; brothers, Johnnie Lewis, Ralph Lewis, and Donald Lewis; special loved ones, Tamika White, Irene Dei, and Jenny Schafer; and a host of loved and cherished ones.

She leaves to cherish memories: her daughter, Donna Smylie (James E. Smylie III) of Illinois; fifteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
