Jason Michael McClain, “Jaymoney,” departed this life on February 16, 2025, in Springfield, Illinois. He was born on June 14, 1983, in Springfield, Illinois, as the son of Mayola McClain and David McClain.

He was a laborer, jack of all trades, and he was an animal lover. The love he had for his family was unconditional.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Mayola McClain of Springfield, IL; father, David McClain of Springfield, IL; brothers, David McClain, Jr., James McClain, Ronald McClain, Donald McClain, all of Springfield, IL, and Sunny (Lewis) of Texas; sisters, Linda Johnson of Shelby, MS, Michelle McClain, LuKisha McClain, Tonya Lowry, all of Springfield, IL, Meghan McClain, and Jennifer McClain; special nephews, Dontavious Bruce, Henry Lee Berry, Jr., and Jacobi Bruce; and special nieces, Nakeia Haynes and Jamesha McClain.
