Obituary

Latasha Rose Levy, affectionately known as Tasha, was born on June 21st, 1982, in Springfield, Illinois to Sylvia “Syb” Jordan. On Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, Tasha transitioned from this life at the age of 42.
 
Tasha accepted Christ at an early age and remained faithful all her life.
 
She attended Mississippi Valley State University where she was well loved and made lifelong friendships.
 
She was employed at the Illinois Association of School Boards where she thrived in her role. She was quickly promoted to Assistant Director of Training Development and found
great fulfillment in her position.


She leaves to cherish her memories: son; Camden Levy, mother; Sylvia “Syb” Jordan, brothers; Austin Jordan (Leah), Ronald (Roxanne) Levy and William Levy (Tina), sisters; LaPria “Pria” Jordan, Carol (ReRe)Levy, aunts; Rosemary “Mary” Bailey, Linda “Faye” (Mark) Gilchrese and Virginia “Ann” Jordan-Benson, uncles; Edd (Norma) Jordan, Special uncle/dad; Louis (Cathy) Jordan Jr., Special Nephew; Av’Aire “Avi” Jordan, Sisterfriends; Amber Hayes-Bolden and Leticia Johnson, the love of her life, Eric Stapleton and a host of cousins and friends.
Tasha leaves a legacy of love, compassion and strength. Her memory will live on forever in
our hearts.
