Obituary
Linda Lou Holcomb departed this life on July 16, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born April 4, 1948, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Oddie Morrison and John Ayers.
Linda was a waitress at Tops Big Boy for many years. She was a member of Daily Bread at Kumler Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oddie Morrison and John Ayers; sisters, May Ruth and Viola; brothers, Donald, Ernest, and Carol Jean; and grandsons, Adam and Ja’khari.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Michael Wilson of Rosehill, Virginia; daughter, Christina Riley (Melvin) of Springfield, IL; brother, Robert Ayers (Judy) of Springfield, IL; seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
