Obituary

LIFE REFLECTIONS OF TONY HARRIS Tony Harris was born March 28 1957 in Charleston MO to his parents Earl and Pearl Harris. He was introduced to Christ at an early age. Tony was a member of New Jerusalem MB Church of Springfield IL. Tony served in both the United States Army and United States Navy. After retiring from the Armed Services he worked for the State of Illinois for 10 years. After leaving the state he was an over the road truck drivers for several years. His favorite things to do was watch sports especially the Cardinals and play dominos. Tony united in holy matrimony to Jeanette McCoy on April 22 1995 they celebrated 28 years of marriage united as one. On May 11 2023 God called Tony home to rest in His presence. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Pearl Harris sisters Arline Odessa Early Bea and Pearline. Brothers Sonny Guy Wesley Bobby Joe and Arthur. Those left behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Jeanette Harris children Justin McCoy and Tiffany McCoy Roger Anderson 6 grandchildren Kamar Joiner Justin McCoy Jr. Martez Jones Jael McCoy Haleigh McCoy Tahiri McCoy. Sisters Martha Ann Barbara Moore Betty Brown Dorothy Brown and Loraine Files. Brother William Harris. A host of relatives brother in laws sister in laws nieces nephews cousins and friends.
