Obituary
Walter Lofton, Jr., 76, departed this life on Friday January 26, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. Walter was born May 1, 1947 the son of Walter Lofton Sr. and Germany Lofton in Clarksdale, MS. He was one of eleven children.
Walter was a cook by day and a father and husband by night. He was very quiet and laid back. He loved family outings and just back relaxing on the porch.
Walter met and married the mother of his children Deborah Walker. Even though he did not have a religion of choice, he did believe in God.
Walter is preceded in death by his; parents; Walter Lofton and Germany Lofton, three brothers; James Brown,John Davis and Henry Lofton, two sisters; Mary Lee Neil and Germany Dean, daughter; Jacqueline Burnes and mother of children Deborah Walker.
He leaves to cherish his memory; sons; Chad Lofton and Walter Lofton ,daughters; Valeria Anderson, Pamela(Benny Wright) and Robin Lofton, brother; Roosevelt McNeil, sisters; Verlean Henderson, Mary Lofton, Rose Neil and Shirley Neil, grandchildren; Briana, Aneen, James Palmer, Jerrica Danley, Keyana Starkweather, Zachary Luttel, Shadow Mountain, Jaynia Spencer, Lashawn Spencer, Allena Lott, JaShud Spencer, Nathan Anderson, Naysheaira Anderson, NaQwez Anderson, Camira Burnes, Melissa, Brandy, Shay, Nicholas, Trent Smith, Brandi Smith, Marquell, Monquez, Briana Dineen, Shatara Burnes, Melvin Burnes Jr. and Jacqueline Burnes and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
