Obituary
Wanda McClendon departed this life on March 31, 2026, at her home. She was born on May 9, 1966, in Marion, Alabama, the daughter of Lucille Evans and Robert Evans.
She married Aaron McClendon on June 26, 1998.
Mrs. Wanda McClendon was a food service manager at Arena Food Service for eight years.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed reading her bible, working out, beading, shopping, cooking, and enjoying family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille Evans and Robert Evans, and sister, Clara Phillips.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Darly R. Mario Moore of Springfield, IL, and Shane R. Harvell of Springfield, IL; daughters, Kimberly Evans of Springfield, IL, Sherclita Keianna Sands (Jason Sands) of Dallas, GA, and Zeruiah Weille McClendon of Springfield, IL; brother, Lewis Sullivan of Springfield, IL; sisters, Althea Parris of Springfield, IL, Yvencia Evans of Moundville, AL, Tammy Tubbs (Obie Tubbs) of Marion, AL, Valerie Jackson (Oliver Jackson) of Calamity City, IL, and Fonda Evans of Springfield, IL; nine grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She married Aaron McClendon on June 26, 1998.
Mrs. Wanda McClendon was a food service manager at Arena Food Service for eight years.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed reading her bible, working out, beading, shopping, cooking, and enjoying family.
