Obituary
Willis Paul Trotter “Wish” departed this life on June 28, 2023, at his place of residence. Willis “Wish” was born on October 17, 1976, in Springfield, Illinois. He was the son of Paula Miller-Edwards and Willie Trotter.
He had a big heart, he was a giver, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. It was never a dull moment when he was around. Wish always made you laugh or smile from his jokes and personality. He always supported everyone around him and showed up when it mattered the most.
Willis was known for being a busy man who was always on the go and performed his tedious cleaning habits whenever and wherever. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, friend, and grandfather. Everyone who knew Willis knows how much he loved his children and his two dogs, Nyla and Pikachu.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Wile Trotter; father, Willie Trotter; and godmom, Melba Shelton.
He leaves to cherish many memories with his mother, Paula Miller-Edwards; stepfather, William “Kenny” Edwards; children, Veronica “#1 Diamond Princess” Trotter, Kiara Trotter, Beyounce “Sadie Mae” Trotter, Tahj Trotter, Cheyenne “Babygirl” Trotter, Willis Trotter, Premiere Broom, and Supreme Trotter; siblings, Floyd Williams, Angela Mayham, and Phlona Williams; his other half, Shavonda Huggins; four grandchildren; alongside a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.
